HOW TO REGISTER?

PROCESS OF REGISTRATION

ONLINE REGISTRATION

Email + eTransfer to: TrainingAt4U@gmail.com
Please include the following in both the email and the eTransfer.
  • Name of the student
  • The type and/or session you are registering for (i.e.: Private lesson, Junior Group Lesson, etc)
  • The day and time of the lesson (i.e.: All groups lessons are scheduled on a specific day of the week and time)
  • For all private and semi-private group lessons, please indicate the assigned coach

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION

Cash, Debit Card, and/or Credit Card @ 4U Badminton Centre
Please ensure to obtain a copy of the receipt and ensure the following details are recorded on the receipt
  • Name of the student
  • The type and/or session you are registering for (i.e.: Private lesson, Junior Group Lesson, etc)
  • The day and time of the lesson (i.e.: All groups lessons are scheduled on a specific day of the week and time)
  • For all private and semi-private group lessons, please indicate the assigned coach

Please leave the receipt with our receptionist and they will submit it to our Head Coach for you. Thank you!

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

  • Our prefer method of payment is via eTransfers (EMT) with the quickest processing time! :)
  • It is very important to ensure all details are included during your registration to reserve your spots within our lessons.
  • Any missing details might result in delays to your registration and might result in losing your spot.
  • All prices are subject to taxes (13% HST), even cash!
  • Keep in mind that the club enforces very strict footwear policy where only badminton-exclusive shoes are accepted.
    Should students come unprepared, they will have to rent shoes at their own cost.

JUNIOR GROUP LESSONS

PLAYERS FROM 7 YRS TO 17 YRS

GROUP LESSONS DETAILS:

MAKE-UP LESSONS:
  • Each students are eligible to a maximum of 1 make-up lessons.
  • It is the responsibility of the students and/or guardians to arrange make-up classes with the coaches.
  • Only absences with at least 24 hours notice will be eligible for make-up lessons.
  • Make-Up lessons may be taken with other sessions in the same quarter, subject to coaches approval

SKILL LEVEL EXPECTATIONS

Beginner 1
  • Players still working towards making contact with the shuttles
  • Have never taken any formal badminton lessons 
  • Note: Community Centre lesson and school trainings are not considered formal badminton experience

Beginner 2
  • Players working towards differentiating between different type of shots
  • Have some experience with formal badminton lessons and training.
  • Knows all the basic badminton rules and movements
​
Intermediate 1
  • Able to execute various badminton shots ( Clear, Drops, Smash, Lift, Drive, etc)
  • Ability to hit the shuttle continuously in various pattern
​
Intermediate 2
  • Players with a good level of proficiency in various badminton shots
  • Ability to execute complex badminton drills and exercise.
  • Able to play and differentiate Doubles, Singles, and/or Mixed Doubles
​
Advanced 1
  • Tournament/Competition-Ready
  • Subject to coaches evaluation and recommendation. 
  • Advanced group lessons will only be offered on an invitational basis at this time.

Note:
  • We understand that each club and each parent assessment can be widely different.
  • The club and its coaches reserves the right to transfer students between sessions should their skills and experience not match with the group.

PRIVATE LESSONS DETAILS:

  • Private lessons can be schedule whichever day and time is most convenient for you.
  • All cancellations are subject to a 24 hour notice policy, otherwise a full lesson fee will be charged.
  • Please contact your assigned coach for any cancellation or changes.

Price: $65 + HST per hour
Package: $600 + HST for 10 hours

Semi-Private Lessons 

2  students /w 1 coach ( Cost is shared)
Price: $80 + HST per hour
Package: $750 + HST for 10 hours

3  students /w 1 coach ( Cost is shared)
Price: $90 + HST per hour
Package: $825 + HST for 10 hours
